  • 1 Register for the course. Enter your name, address, etc. 
     
  • 2 Start Lesson 1. At the end of each lesson there is a short quiz. Take the quizzes as many times as you need to pass.
  • 3 Pass the final exam.  Answer just 80% correct and you pass! Take the final exam as many times as you need.
  • 4 Certificate delivery. We will notify the New Jersey MVC for your 2-point reduction. For your insurance discount, download your certificate as a PDF that you can email or mail to your insurance agent.

Facts for Traffic School in New Jersey

  •  We will electronically send your completion information directly to the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) on your behalf. The New Jersey MVC will remove 2 points from the accumulated points currently on your driver license (N.J.S.A. 39:5-30.9).
  •  By law you will also qualify for a mandatory insurance rate discount. Contact your insurance company for the amount of your discount. (N.J.S.A. 17:33B-45.1)
  •  For your auto insurance discount, you can download your certificate immediately after completing the course.
  •  The New Jersey MVC will only recognize a defensive driving course once every five years for point reduction (N.J.S.A. 39:5-30.9).
  •  IMPORTANT NOTE: Point credits for state-approved, New Jersey defensive driving course curriculum only. We are such a course approved by the New Jersey MVC.
